Our Story

Our story began in the small beach town of La Palmyre, April 2022. We were both employed as Entertainers for a French company and were about to start working and living together for the next 9 months. About a week into the contract, we were spending our downtime together and slowly realising that there may be more than just a friendship between us. Fast forward to June 27, JC had asked Mira to be his girlfriend.

 

At the end of 2022, we went on our first holiday together to Italy. It was during this trip that we both realised that we would like to spend our lives together, although we only admitted this to one another the following year.

At the end of 2023, we decided to end our Entertainment careers. Mira was offered a job position in Belfast, and we moved to Belfast together. Here we experienced living together in the 'real' world together. We created new friendships, and reinforced old ones of which we are eternally grateful especially during the visa struggles.

In December 2024, Mira took JC to South Africa for the first time. Here, JC met all the Rendilheiro's together and spent 1 month exploring the beauty of Mira's home. On December 27 (our 2.5years), JC got down on one knee and asked for Mira's hand in marriage.
